Preparing for the stay: what to bring.

An admission takes half an hour to prepare. This list avoids trips back and forth — and the items that would have to go home again.

Documents

Medication

Bring every box currently in use, including the ones you consider unimportant and those obtained without a prescription. The doctor needs to know everything that is being taken before deciding on the protocol — it is a matter of safety, not of control.

What stays at home

The phone

It is not confiscated. Its use may be adjusted during the first days, while sleep settles back in and outside pressure eases — this is discussed with you, never imposed without explanation.

Visits

Family and friends are welcome, during visiting hours, as soon as the patient's condition allows. A family meeting is offered during the stay: it is part of the treatment, not a courtesy.
